As a nominee and one of four finalists Anne Louise was invited to the Danish Chemical Society Annual Meeting at Southern Danish University (SDU) on June 9 2016 to give a lecture of 20 minutes.

Anne Louise will participate in YMCS in Manchester on 1-2 September 2016 (www.efmc-ymcs.org), which is arranged in extension of the XXIV EFMC International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry (www.efmc-ismc.org).

This event allows talented young pharmaceutical chemists on PhD / junior postdoc level the chance to present their project to an international audience, build an international network, and compete for the title European Champion in Medicinal Chemistry.

Anne Louise was a PhD student and postdoc in Gothelf Lab in October 2011 to November 2015. Her research involved development of new methods for protein labelling and functionalization of DNA nanostructures with macromolecules e.g. dendrimers and polymers

Since December 2015 Anne Louise has been employed as a research scientist at Novo Nordisk.
