INASCON Winners

Three nanoscience students participated in INASCON 2016 and came back with awards

Søren Roesgaard Nielsen, Asger Holm Agergaard and Jonas Palle

02-05 August 2016 the annual (INternational NAnoscience Student CONference) INASCON was held at the University of Twente.

Several nanoscience students, from the education here at iNANO, participated in this event - 3 of them won an award:

Søren Roesgaard Nielsen, presented results from his PhD project. He won 1. place in the category of best presentation, with the speech titled: "Embedded nanocrystals for light emission".

Jonas Palle, presented results from his bachelors project and won 1. place in the category of best poster. The poster had the titel: "Element distributions in human osteonal bone mapped in 3D by fluorescence tomography".

Asger Holm Agergaard, presented results from his bachelors project and won 2. place in the category of best poster. The poster had the titel: "Towards an Upright Hexagonal DNA Lattice".

The conference is organized by students for students, and everybody with at least 2 years of study within the field of nanoscience are allowed to participate.
